Olsen, Ole (1 AUG 1886 - 10 NOV 1950)

 

Funeral services for Ole Olsen, 64, of Detroit, former resident of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), who died in Milwaukee on Nov. 10, 1950, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17 at Trinity Lutheran Church here.  The Rev. J. C. Langholz officiated at the services, and burial was made in the Beaver Cemetery.

 

Mr. Olsen was born on Aug. 1, 1886, in Neenah.  He was married in 1917 to Ollie Johnson at Greenwood.  He had been a farmer in the Loyal vicinity most of his life and moved to Detroit about seven years ago.

 

Employed by the Michigan Central, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees.  He was also a member of the Varliv Society of the Lutheran Church and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, No. 160, and was in their card club.

 

Children surviving are Robert of Detroit and Allan of Owen.  Three brothers, Albert, John and Christian, also survive.  His wife preceded him in death on Feb. 24, 1928.
