Hazeltine, Albert J. #2 (26 SEP 1872 - 27 NOV 1950)
Albert J. Hazeltine, 78, died Monday afternoon, Nov. 27, 1950, in a Milwaukee Hospital, where he was taken when he suffered a heart attack on a street there.
He was born on Sept. 26, 1872, at Lowell, and when a young boy came to reside on a farm near Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). He was married to Katherine Hall at Columbus in 1911. Following their marriage, the Hazeltines moved to a farm in this vicinity. In 1943 they moved to Milwaukee.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Albert Mark of Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Otto (Edith) Catlin of Neillsville, and four grandchildren. Two sisters, one brother and a child preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the Myre Funeral home here at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30. The Rev. Lee Holmes officiated. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.
Mrs. G. W. Nelson and Mrs. Calvin Prior sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset," with Miss Donna Mae Gotter as accompanist.
Serving as pallbearers were Henry Lemke, Oscar Lindekugel, Fred Strege, Frank Lindekugel, Fred Haupt, and Glen Doering.
Relatives attending from out of town were Mrs. Hazeltine, Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Hazeltine and daughter, Claudette, and Mrs. Agnes Marquardt of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Catlin of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rose of Baker, Mont. and Miss Isabelle Hall of Waupaca.
