Prior, Eugene H. (7 DEC 1885 - 26 NOV 1950)

Eugene H. Prior died at his home at Wauconda, Ill., early Sunday evening, Nov. 26, 1950.  He was born on Dec. 7, 1885, and, when a small boy, moved with his parents into the village of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).  He attended the Loyal school and graduated in 1903.  He also graduated from the Oshkosh Teachers College.

He taught in the rural schools of Clark County and at Arbor Vitae and Minocqua.  Later he worked for his brother, ray Prior, as a clerk in a general store at Wauconda, for some time, then went into the insurance and summer resort business.

Funeral services were held in the Federated Church at Wauconda on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Prior; three daughters and one son; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Nashold of Fall River, and brother, Ray of Loyal.

Mr. and Mrs. Prior and Norma attended the funeral.
