Geraldine Ford, 87, Owen, died on Monday, Aug, 16, 2010, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 21, at Riverside Cemetery, Withee. The Rev. Mark Schwinn will officiate.
She was born on July 3, 1923, in Nevinville, Iowa. She married William Sherman Ford on April 2, 1942, in Trenton, Mo. They moved to Withee in 1961 and farmed until 1976. Her husband passed away in November 1988. She enjoyed frequent visits with family.
Survivors include her children, Margaret Ford, Denison, Iowa, Joy (Gary) Hoffmann, Strum, Scott (Lyn) Ford, Thorp, and Curt (Donna) Ford, Withee; seven grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
