A large number of his friends gave Ben Thoma a pleasant surprise Saturday evening in honor of his birthday.
Mrs. Bertha Schoenwetter and son Frank spent Sunday with relatives near Greenwood.
Chas. Lueck and family, of Grant, visited Sunday at the Wm. Mitt home.
Grandma Hagedorn celebrated her 95th birthday Saturday, Oct. 14th.
Services were held in the Lutheran Church Sunday afternoon, after there being none for four weeks.
Tillie Mitt spent a few days last week with relatives and friends in Grant.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Christopherson spent Sunday with Ed Prock and family.
August Dudei and family, Anna Scheel and Myrtle Klueckman attended a dance at Geo. Reindel’s near the Co. farm Saturday evening.
Henry Kuester and family, of Greenwood, visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Kuester’s father, John Mund.
The Geisler family, who live south of Neillsville, drove over Sunday to visit August Worchel and family.
Elsie Hemp is learning sewing at Mrs. Jacob Schiller’s.
