Dittman, Edward (Infantile Paralysis - 1916)
The first case of Infantile Paralysis to make its appearance in Marshfield is an important one. Edward Dittman, of Neillsville, a man about 35 years of age, has been ailing for nearly two weeks and came from Neillsville to Marshfield Monday to have a diagnosis made by a Marshfield physician. He appeared to have a mild case of Infantile Paralysis and was removed to the isolation hospital maintained in connection (portion missing).
