C. S. Stockwell went to Loyal Monday on a surveying tour.

 

Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Root went to Merrillan last Sunday to attend T. Grafton Owen’s services there.

 

Mrs. Lindsey and daughter Jo left here Tuesday for Minneapolis, where they will spend the summer.

 

Miss Dolly Stanley, daughter of E. J. Stanley, went to Chicago yesterday and expects to be gone two weeks.

 

Mrs. Ed Bruley returned home last Friday from a visit with her daughter, Mrs. I. M. Stockwell, at Bibon.

 

Ed Hines, who has been night clerk in the O’Neill House for some time, resigned his position there this week.

 

Assemblyman L. M. Sturdevant and M. C. Ring spent Sunday in the city. The war in Madison is reaching its finish.
