Pleasant Ridge (July - 1901)
Jimmie Hughes left for the harvest fields of Dakoto (Dakota) last week.
Mrs. Oscar Kuetchenmaster (Kuechenmeister) fell and severely hurt her neck one day last week.
Mrs. Lee Gower and little son returned to their home at Alma Center last Friday.
There are several cases of mumps and measles.
Herbert and Clarion Counsell went to Chili Saturday returning home on Monday.
Mrs. Sereno Wren was surprised last Saturday evening by a number of her friends in honor of her birthday. Refreshments were served and a good time reported.
Arlo Huckstead’s team took some lively turns last Monday noon, but no one was hurt except the binder.
C. A. Youmans threshed his wheat Tuesday.
