Monday morning at 9 o’clock Rev. Hendren united in marriage Miss Gertrude Kennedy and E.F. McIntyre.  The wedding was a very quiet one, only relatives and close friends of the contracting parties being in attendance.  Mrs. McIntyre is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kennedy and is one of Neillsville’s most esteemed and capable young ladies.  She is a graduate of the Neillsville High School and Oshkosh normal and for the past two years she had held a position in the Milwaukee schools.  Mr. McIntyre is an assistant in the district attorney’s office in Milwaukee and is an especially pleasing and talented gentleman.  Mr. and Mrs. McIntyre will take up housekeeping in Milwaukee eventually, but for the present Mrs. McIntyre will remain at home, as Mr. Kennedy has not been in good health for several months.
