We congratulate Mrs. Greeler on her good fortune of winning the automobile at the county fair.
Jos. Lastofka of South York enjoyed an auto ride Sunday with John Lastofka.
Mrs. E.M. Lawrence and Mrs. A.W. Hales were at Neillsville last Sunday and visited with their sisters, Mrs. Dora Rowe and Mrs. Lois Way. Will Lawrence went down to take a group picture of the sisters.
Luebke Bros. are making the chaff fly this week.
The school house in Dist. No. 2 was kalsomined one day last week by Ernest Rowe and John Vande Berg.
Miss Beeckler of Granton opened school in Dist. No. 3 last Monday.
Mrs. Wm. Benedict and her three children visited a few days at the Jerry Davis home in Marshfield.
John Lastofka is getting his silo filler in readiness.
Mrs. Mary Fulwiler returned home Thursday from her visit at Loyal, Neillsville and Marshfield.
Mrs. M.B. Redmond came Thursday for a more extended visit in this vicinity.
Sylvester Pease returned home last week from a two months’ sojourn in Montana and North Dakota. He is satisfied with Clark County. Irrigation doesn’t appeal to him.
Mrs. Annie Seiger of La Crosse visited with the J. Rohdorf family the past week.
Mrs. Sadie Rowe entertained Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler and Mrs. Olive Campbell Friday afternoon.
