Thorp, Wisconsin Area (September - 1901)
A four months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Mallory died on Thursday last, the funeral taking place on Friday. - W. C. Boardman and sons have purchased the F. M. Craig property at Eidsvold, which includes a well built residence and about fifteen acres of land. Consideration $1,000 - Peter Hipke of Sherry, who is employed by Benson & Anderson, a well known Milwaukee real estate firm, was in town on Monday. His firm own 10,000 acres of land in town 30, range 3, which were purchased recently from the N. W. Land Co., and upon which they are locating settlers. - L. O. Garrison recently visited the hospital at Hudson, where Mrs. Garrison is spending a few weeks receiving treatment for severe head ache and nervous disorder, which has troubled her for several years. Mr. Garrison reports the condition of his wife much improved. - Courier
