Will Poate was down from Fairchild.

Geo. Huntzicker of Marshfield was in the city Monday.

Mis Blanche Ring was home a day or two late last week.

C. Krumrey and wife went to the Expo at Buffalo Thursday.

Donald McMillan was home for a couple of days the past week.

J. H. Thayer, wife and babe of Sparta were here over Sunday.

S. M. Marsh was at Colby yesterday, attending to a criminal matter in justice court.

Miss Irma Schuster is making preparations to go to Washington, D. C., to study music.

H. W. Klopf left yesterday for an extended business trip to Chicago, New York, and Providence.

Mrs. F. W. Archer of Merrillan and her sister, Mrs. Carl Kammeyer of Chicago, visited friends here Friday.

Mrs. A. B. Marsh and son Gerald returned from a three or four weeks visit at Stevens Point, Withee and Marshfield last Friday night.

R. S. Edson left Monday to join his family at Centralia, Wash.  Mr. Edson is a good citizen and Centralia is a gainer by getting him.

Will Woodward went to Chicago Friday night, returning home Monday, his wife, who has been there for a couple of weeks returning with him.

Homer C. Clark, of the law firm of Sturdevant & Clark, has been visiting relatives near Boston, Mass., for the past week, and is having a fine time.

Mrs. J. D. Butler came up from Mauston Thursday night to join her boys and visit Mrs. H. H. Heath for a short time, and then go, with the boys, to join her husband at Seattle, Wash.

Rev. and Mrs. Kerr entertained the moderator of the La Crosse presbytery, Rev. L. S. Cooper and wife of North Bend, on their way to Greenwood.  Revs. I. H. Black and T. C. Hill were entertained by Mrs. Jesse Lowe.
