Gilman, Charles (Birthday Party - 1902)
Will Ketel came over from Lynn yesterday and tells of a very pleasant surprise party Tuesday night on Chas. Gilman, whose 26th birthday had to be celebrated. The crowd of friends gathered at the Martin residence, where Charley boards, with baskets of eatables and put in a jolly night of it. Chas. is a popular young man and deserved the send-off.
