Janicki, Dorothy M. (3 AUG 1928 - 8 SEP 2010)

 

NEILLSVILLE -- Dorothy M. Janicki, 82, of Neillsville died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Neillsville Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. Burial will be in Hatfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville, and Monday at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Dorothy was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Chicago to Anthony and Anna (Kalina) Mack. She was united in marriage Nov. 16, 1946, at Neillsville to Ted Janicki. She was employed at Dadco Foods in Black River Falls for 20 years, and farmed with her husband in the town of Dewhurst for 63 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Janicki of Neillsville; eight children, Ted (Corinne) Janicki of Neillsville, Michael (Barbara) Janicki of Cadott, Mark Janicki of Neillsville, Craig (Diann) Janicki of Neillsville, Sheryl (John) Jenness of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Kevin (Renee) Janicki of Neillsville, Robin (Steve) Simonis of Marshfield and Jessica (Bill) Staszak of Hatfield; 45 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is further survived by nine brothers and sisters, Elaine (Leo) Neville of Appleton, Glenn (Janice) Mack of Eau Claire, Terry Mack of Tomahawk, Shirley (Glen) Berg of Fox Lake, Mary Ann (Don) Kanter of Greenfield, Betty Lou Gutenberger of Milwaukee, Tom (Bridget) Mack of New Berlin, Beverly (Marsh) Kruger of Chippewa Falls and Karen Finch of Neillsville.
