Mrs. Oscar Hein of Humbird is in the city.
C. S. Graves of Janesville was in the city Monday.
Herman G. Krause of Granton was in the city Tuesday.
Mrs. M. M. Wheelock left Sunday for a visit to relatives in the west.
Fred Runkel has been spending a few days at home and left Tuesday for the west.
Leon M. Campbell, the postmaster at Irene, Clark Co. Wis., was in the city Saturday.
Rev. A. B. Scovill was in the city a day or two this week, on his way home from Washburn.
Co. Supt. A. O. Rhea came down from Thorp early this week, a sufferer from appendicitis.
Ed Kimball has been visiting his father, J. A. Kimball, and the little son and daughter this week.
John Huntley left for the Pacific Coast Monday, to estimate timber. He will be gone about four months.
Mrs. H. M. Root took her son Jakie to Black River Falls this week to enter him in Miss Aggle’s school as a pupil.
Dist. Attorney S. M. Marsh went to Thorp Friday to conduct the preliminary examination of Fred Haak, on a charge of wife murder.
