Ladwig, Frank (18 Nov. 1887 - 4 Jan. 1959)
Frank Ladwig, 71, town of Hull, died Sunday night at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, of a heart ailment.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Zion Lutheran church at Colby and burial was made in the Colby cemetery. The Rev. Wm. R. Christian was the officiating minister.
Mr. Ladwig, who was born in Germany, Nov. 18, 1887, came to America as a young man. On Oct. 25, 1910, he was married to Emma Krumm in Iowa. They farmed for the past 30 years in the town of Hull.
He is survived by his widow; one son, Edwin, of Marshfield; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Luella) Krauter and Mrs. Orville (Clara) Westberg, both of Colby, and Mrs. Walter (Lila) Anderson, Spencer. He also leaves two brothers and one sister.
