Feit, Edward J. (15 June 1894 - 7 Mar. 1959)
Funeral services for Edward J. Feit, 64, of Unity, who died of a heart attack were held Wednesday morning at 9:30 at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, with the Rev. John Pinion officiating at the requiem high mass. Burial was made in the Marshfield cemetery.
Mrs. Feit had come to Abbotsford Thursday to be with her sister, Miss Laura Olsen, who is ill. She called home Saturday morning and when she received no answer, returned home and found Mr. Feit dead in bed.
Mr. Feit was born in Milladore June 15, 1894. Since 1920, he had served as Soo Line station master at Colby, except for brief assignments at Marshfield and Port Edwards.
He served in the army in World War I and was with the army of occupation in France.
He was married at Colby on Oct. 27, 1920 to the former Edith Olson, who survives him as does their only daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Jean) Entzminger, of Stevens Point. There are three grandchildren and one brother, William Feit, of Moose Lake, Minn.
Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
