Schulte, Charles Louis (8 July 1879 - 28 Apr. 1959)
Charles Schulte died Tuesday at the age of 79, at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient a few days. The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home, at Colby, until Friday noon when it will be brought to Christ Lutheran church where services will be conducted at 2:00 o’clock. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler will officiate.
Charles Louis Schulte was born July 8, 1879. He and Alvina Awe were married on Sept. 25, 1906.
They made their home on a farm in the town of Colby and then for five years in the town of Hull. The last 15 years, they lived on a farm in the town of Holton.
Surviving him are his widow and one son, Reuben, at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Leona Behringer of Greenwood and Mrs. Lorinda Fink of Colby.
There are six grand children and five great grand children. Three sisters also survive.
