Miss Carol E. Page became the bride of Gerald J. Carlson in Central Congregational church, Schenectady, New York, Sept. 12.
The Rev. Kenneth I. Palmer of Simsbury, Connecticut, the bride’s uncle, officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Page of Schenectady, and the groom is the son of Anton J. Carlson of Abbotsford.
The bride wore a gown of peau de soie and Alencon lace cut on princess lines and styled with portrait neckline, short sleeves and full skirt ending in a chapel length train. The bride was attended by a maid of honor and three bridesmaids.
Mr. and Mrs. Carlson will make their home in Schenectady where he is employed by General Electric Company. Mr. Carlson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.
His bride holds a bachelor of science degree in home economics from the University of Massachusetts and is home demonstration agent for Schenectady County Extension Service Association.
Attending the wedding were Anton Carlson and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Carlson of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Carlson of Park Ridge, Illinois.
