Dahlberg, Erick Bernard (13 Aug. 1868 - 31 Oct. 1959)
Funeral services for Erick Bernard Dahlberg, 91, who died at his home at Stetsonville, were held at Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. Wilbert Frank officiating. Burial was made in the Stetsonville Lutheran cemetery.
During the services, Miss Dorothy Kieser and Mrs. Weldon Brown, Abbotsford, sang "Abide With Me," and "Heaven Is My Home."
Surviving him are his widow, the former Hulda Bartz, whom he married Dec, 23, 1899. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Jennie) Waldhart, Abbotsford; one grand son, Clyde Waldhart, Milwaukee; two great grand children, Eric Waldhart, Abbotsford, and Candyce Waldhart, Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Mary Rystrom, St. Paul, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Amacher and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Laper of Abbotsford, and relatives from Milwaukee, Madison, Minneapolis and St. Paul attended the funeral.
Mr. Dahlberg was born in Sweden Aug. 13, 1868, and came to Rib Lake when he was 19. He was employed as head sawyer for the Rib Lake Lumber Company for 24 years.
In 1915, he moved to Stetsonville and operated a hardware business with his partner, the late Fred Amacher. He retired in 1935. He was a director of the Farmers State Bank, Stetsonville, and the Midway Telephone Company.
