Anderson, Bonita J. (Marriage - 21 Nov. 1959)
On Nov. 21, Miss Bonita J. Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Anderson, Spokane, Washington, became the bride of Gerald R. Ross, Medford, Wisconsin.
The marriage took place at Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the St. Olaf’s church, with the Rev. Michael McDonough officiating.
The bride was attired in a white ballerina length velvet gown with a fitted bodice of lace over velvet. She carried a cascade bouquet of white and pink roses and baby white pompons.
Attending the bride were a friend, Miss Elaine Sconzert, Caseo, Wisconsin, and Miss Rita Ross, Milwaukee, sister of the groom. They wore identical street length gowns of royal blue velvet and carried a cascade bouquet of pink carnations and baby white pompons.
James Ross and Carroll Ross, brothers of the groom, acted as best man and groomsman, respectively.
Immediately following a small reception in Minneapolis, the newlyweds left for Spokane to attend a reception at the home of the bride’s parents, and will continue on to California where the groom will attend college.
The bride was formerly employed by Teen, Inc., Minneapolis, and the groom was employed by Universal Engineering, Eau Claire.
The Anderson family formerly lived at Abbotsford.
