Ehrenreich, Lois (Marriage - 27 Dec. 1959)

Miss Lois Ehrenreich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ? Ehrenreich, of Abbotsford, and David A. Springer, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Alex Springer of Menomonie, exchanged marriage vows Sunday, Dec. 27, at the First Congregational church, Eau Claire. The Rev. Forrest York, Eau Claire, officiates at the ceremony at 3:00 o’clock.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of Chantilly lace, designed with a scalloped edge scoop neckline and three quarter length sleeves. The ballerina length skirt was detailed with a net ruffled back. She wore a finger tip veil and carried a bouquet of white roses.

Attending the bride were Miss Donna Ehrenreich, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, and Miss Shari Springer, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid.

With their identically styled dresses, of nylon with very full skirts, they wore matching head pieces and carried bouquets of white carnations tipped with the color of their frocks. Pale blue was chosen for the maid of honor and pale pink for the bridesmaid.

Gary Aamodb, as best man, and Joseph Holter, both of Menomonie, friend and a cousin, respectively, attended the groom.

During the ceremony, Miss Donna Mayer read two poems, "Love," by Gilbran, and "The Ring," by Chamiss, with organ accompaniment by Walter May, organ professor at Wisconsin State College, Eau Claire. Mr. May also played the processional and recessional wedding marches.

The church was decorated with white poinsettias and on the altar there were bouquets of red snapdragons and white mums.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church dining hall. Guests attended from Abbotsford, Menomonie, Eau Claire, Marshfield, Owen and Curtiss.

Mr. and Mrs. Springer left on a short wedding trip and will make their future home at 840 ½ Chippewa Street, Eau Claire. Both young people are attending Eau Claire State College and will continue their education.
