Kramer, Anna (2 Dec. 1897 - 12 Feb. 1960)
Mrs. Anna Kramer of the Bethel Convalescent Home, died following a siege of pneumonia, Friday afternoon at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She was 62 years old and had been in poor health for several years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in Zion Lutheran church in Colby with the Rev. William Christian officiating. Internment was made in the town of Holton cemetery.
Pallbearers were six cousins of the deceased: Harry and Oscar Olson and Gordon Anderson of Abbotsford; Clarence Olson and Edwin Hansen of Marshfield, and Orville Nall of Spencer.
Mrs. Kramer was born at Rhinelander Dec. 2, 1897 and was married to Richard Kramer, who preceded her in death. They farmed in the town of Holton a number of years and then moved to Marshfield.
She is survived by two sons, Norman, Catawba, and Earl, Abbotsford; five daughters, Mrs. Raymond Decker, Colby; Mrs. Elroy Hanne, Abbotsford; Mrs. Robert Gass, Hewitt; Mrs. Charles Spatz, Aurburndale; and Mrs. Delmer Pieper, Curtiss, and 26 grand children.
A daughter preceded her in death.
