Kelnhofer, Frank J. (1878? - 14 Feb. 1960)
Services for Frank J. Kelnhofer, 82, former member of the Milwaukee fire department, were held Thursday at St. Lawrence Catholic church in Milwaukee. Burial was made in Holy Trinity cemetery.
Mr. Kelnhofer died Sunday at St. Mary’s hospital. He was an engineer in the fire department from 1902 until 1925. He later was fire chief for the Falk Corporation.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Francis Kelnhofer, Wauwatosa; four daughters, Sister Mary Giles, O.S.F., Greenview, Ill.; Mrs. Arthur Broenen, Mrs. Stephen Kinnar and Miss Rose Kelnhofer, all of Milwaukee; and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Ellerman, Abbotsford; and Mrs. Violet Vanderboom, Hales Corners.
Mrs. Ellerman attended the funeral, returning here Sunday. She stayed with her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Braasch, and family.
