Kramer, Anton (8 Oct. 1891 - 19 Feb. 1960)
Funeral services for Anton Kramer, 68, who died at his home Friday evening, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Christ Lutheran church. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated. Internment was made in the Town of Holton cemetery.
Pallbearers were Armin Barts, Louis Beilke, Emil Hoeft, Henry Jacobi, Oscar Schauer and Lawrence Wehrman.
Mr. Kramer was born Oct. 8, 1891, in the Town of Holton and attended the Rosedale school. He farmed in the Town of Holton until three years ago when he moved to Abbotsford.
He married Minnie Klawitter in Abbotsford May 1, 1919.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran church, and he served as supervisor in the Town of Holton for eight years and was on the Marathon county board of supervisors for four years.
Surviving him are his widow, five sons, Arvin, Howard, Edward, Roger, all of Abbotsford, and Darold of Waupaca, and eight grand children.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Ernest, and a sister, Elsie.
Relatives from away who attended the funeral came from Waupaca, Wild Rose, Madison, Marshfield, Edgar, Colby, Oshkosh, and Unity.
