Laffin, Joyce (Marriage - 27 Apr. 1960)
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Baronsky are now making their home at Dorchester.
Allen Baronsky and Joyce Laffin of Aniwa were united in marriage Wednesday, April 27, at St. Thomas Catholic church, Milan. The Rev. Charles Schumacher read the double ring service before the 10 o’clock nuptial mass.
The bride wore an embroidered satin gown which featured a brush train, long sleeves and a square neck line. A crown of seed pearls and rhinestones held her fingertip veil silk illusion veil and pink roses and white carmations were combined in the bridal bouquet.
Ballerina gowns of pink chiffon and matching headpieces of braid were worn by her two attendants, Miss Delores Baronsky, sister of the groom, as maid of honor, and Miss Jean Strecock of Aniwa as bridesmaid. They carried nosegay bouquets of white carnations and pink gladioli.
Robert Noland of Medford as best man and Lawrence Hiebl, of Dorchester, attended the groom.
Following the ceremony, dinner for the immediate families was served at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baronsky, Abbotsford, rt. 1. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laffin of of Aniwa.
Mr. Baronsky, a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, is employed at the Dorchester Furniture factory.
