Munson, Emma (11 July 1916 - 3 May 1960)

 

Mrs. Gordon Munson, 43, died of a heart attack May 3, rt. 1, Curtiss. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Green Grove, and internment was made Saturday at New Richmond.

 

The former Emma Rudd was born at New Richmond July 11, 1916. She married Gordon Munson there on Dec. 28, 1935. They had lived in the Curtiss area since their marriage, and for the past 14 years operated the Oakland Cheese Factory, which they sold recently.

 

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and of its Ladies Aid Society.

 

Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. George (Marjorie) Klengland, Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Barbara Munson, a student nurse at Luther hospital, Eau Claire, Carol; and two sons, David and Allan, at home; six brothers, David Rudd, Boyceville; William Rudd, New Richmond; Joseph Rudd, Ceylon; Lawrence Rudd, Madison; Oliver Rudd, Chicago; Raymond Rudd, New Richmond and a sister, Mrs. Carl Kastens, New Richmond.
