Weideman, Carol Jean (27 Feb. 1950 - 29 July 1960)

 

Carol Jean Weideman, 10-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Weideman, town of Mayville, died Friday morning at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for six days. She had been ill with nephritis for seven months.

 

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Christ Lutheran church with the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating. Miss Dorothy Kieser and Mrs. Weldon Brown sang "I Am Jesus’ Little Lamb," and "Jesus, Tender Shepherd, Hear Me."

 

Pallbearers for the internment, made in the Abbotsford cemetery, were Alfred and Robert Weideman, Le Roy Underwood, Ronnie Baxter, Herbert Carlson and Rodney Schreiber.

 

Flowers were carried by the Misses Susan Marcott, Susan Broeske, Debby Schraufnagel, Joanne Lukas, Linda Irish and Judy Weideman.

 

Carol was born in the town of Mayville Feb. 27, 1959 (***mistake in newspaper), and completed the fourth grade at the Pleasant Hill school.

 

Surviving, besides her parents, are one brother, Gerald, and five sisters, Janice, Darlene, Nancy, Jenny and Wendy, all at home; and her maternal grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bartz, Sr., of Colby; and paternal grand mother, Mrs. Tillie Weideman, of Dorchester.

 

Relatives from away who attended the funeral, came from Sheboygan, Milwaukee, Phillips, Medford, Spencer, Athens, Curtiss, Dorchester and Colby.
