Heintz, Minnie (12 Aug. 1886 - 7 Oct. 1960)
Funeral services for Mrs. Max Heintz, who died Friday at Chippewa Falls, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby. The Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch, pastor of the First Evangelical and Reformed church, Colby, officiated. Burial was made in Memorial cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Brill, Al Goldamer, Irvin Eggebrecht, Roy Lueschow, Joe Schilling and Oscar Voelker.
Minnie Harwig was born Aug. 12, 1886, at Sheboygan Falls. She married Edwin Kattre of Sheboygan Mar. 31, 1907. After her second marriage to Max Heintz June 7, 1933, she made her home near Cherokee.
Due to ill health, for seven weeks she was in Abbotsford with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kattre. The past three weeks she was at Chippewa Falls at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kattre. She suffered a stroke on Thursday and was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital where death occurred at 5:40 a.m. Friday. She was 74 years old.
Surviving are her husband and three sons, Lester Kattre, Chippewa Falls; Elroy Kattre, St. Paul, Minn.; and Gilbert Kattre, Abbotsford. There are six grand children and one great grand son.
