Cooper, Lena C. (1889? - 16 Dec. 1960)
Mrs. Earl S. Cooper died at her home at Stevens Point, Friday. She was 71 years old. Burial was made in Forest cemetery Monday.
She was the former Lena C. Wedeking. Her mother died when she was five years old and William Wedeking and his children moved to Abbotsford where he operated a blacksmith shop for many years.
Mrs. Cooper attended Abbotsford schools and was married to Earl Cooper June 18, 1908. The couple lived in Abbotsford until 1917 when they moved to Stevens Point.
She is survived by her husband, who is a retired Soo Line Railroad conductor; two daughters, Mrs. Albert C. (Isabelle) Larson, West Bend; and Mrs. Wesley (Evelyn) Weinkauf, Appleton; and two sons, Earl of Stevens Point and William of St. Louis, Mo. There are nine grand children and two great grand children.
Three brothers also survive, William of Chelsea, Fred of Greenwood, and Chris of Nekoosa.
A sister, Mrs. Minnie Edwards, preceded her in death.
