Levis Township Area (December - 1958)
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Champoux and daughter, Cheryl, left Monday to spend New Year’s with his father, Joseph Champoux, at Red Lake Falls, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph E. Meier entertained their children and grandchildren Christmas day. They included Mr. and Mrs. Harold Beyer and children, Harold, Becky and Riney, of Mineral Point; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meier and children Patricia, Charles, Jr., and Jane, of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. William Meier and children Kenneth, David, James and Marilyn, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meier and sons, Michael and Jeffery, Mr. and Mrs. Art Meier and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Meier, all of Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Holub entertained Christmas day; his mother, Mrs. Frieda Holub, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCarty and daughters, Mary Ann and Darlene.
Miss Virginia Gunia, teacher at Dells Dam School, reopened the school Monday after a one-week vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matousek and son, Larry, spent Christmas in Milwaukee, where they visited their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matousek, Jr. Frank Jr., who is in the army, was home on a 48-hour furlough with his wife in Milwaukee. Mr. and Mrs. George Holub of Alma Center accompanied them.
