Anderson, Bessie (16 January 1885 - 29 December 1958)

 

Funeral services were conducted Friday for Mrs. Bessie Anderson, 73, St. Paul, Minn., who died December 29, 1958 at her home.  The Rev. Frank B. Harcey officiated at services from the Georgas Funeral Home.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Anderson, the former Bessie Howard, was born January 16, 1885, daughter of the late John W. and Lilly (King) Howard, in Clark County, where she lived until 1920.  She was married August 12, 1903, to John Anderson at Neillsville, who was a cabinetmaker.  She had been in failing health since last summer.

 

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Hurley of St. Paul, Minn.; and a brother, Floyd Howard of Minneapolis, Minn.  One grandchild and two great-grandchildren also survive.

 

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Royal Neighbor Camp, No. 311, and Prosperity Camp, No. 1334, of St. Paul, and of the V. F. W. Auxiliary.

 

Pallbearers were: Edward Francis, Nick Schereer, William Hrasky, Clifford Blackman, George Buddinger and E. H. Snyder.
