Town of Dewhurst (January - 1959)
Mrs. Earl Hand reported a thermometer reading of 36 degrees below zero at their home Monday morning. They are located about a mile north of the Black River.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Holub of Levis visited last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Kluckhohn.
Mr. and Mrs. Phillip "Kip" Schultz have returned home after a two-week visit with cousins at Sturgeon Bay.
Roy Iverson spent New Year’s Day with his granddaughter, Miss Barbara Iverson, at Wisconsin General Hospital, Madison. He reported she is making steady improvement.
Leroy Bunce of Hatfield was a guest New Year’s Eve of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Kluckhohn.
Miss Ann Topinka of Madison spent New Year’s day and the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Topinka.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marek, Jr., and children visited New Year’s evening with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zlesak, at Hatfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Marek, Jr. drove to Madison Saturday to visit their neighbor, Barbara Iverson, at Wisconsin General Hospital. They found her considerably improved and cheerful.
