Mrs. Robert Schlicht and Mrs. Margaret Roderick will entertain the Ladies Aid Society at the school this (Thursday) afternoon.
The month meeting of the Weston Local Farmers Union will be held Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jacob in Neillsville. All members are expected to be there.
Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalow (Kalsow) went by bus on Tuesday to Watertown to attend the funeral of Mr. Kalsow’s cousin, George Kalsow, which was held Wednesday. They returned by bus on New Year’s Day. They found more snow all the way back than we have around here.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer returned Sunday morning after several weeks’ visit with children and other relatives. They also attended the funeral of George Kalsow at Watertown last Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family visited in Colby Sunday with Norman Miller and family.
Rev. and Mrs. Schlicht and son and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and daughters.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Klauer and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Henchen entertained Sunday, Mrs. Arnold Henchen and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Klauer and two sons of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and children and Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow for dinner and supper honoring the birthdays of Mrs. Hugo Klauer and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow, both ladies having the same age.
William Hoffmann visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Grap, and Friday evening Mrs. Margaret Roderick and Mrs. Myrtle Roderick and daughter of Neillsville visited Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Grap.
Mrs. Frank Thoma has been a patient at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, since last week. She has improved some at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schoenherr and son and Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Grap visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thoma and family New Year’s Day.
Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffmann, Mrs. Bob Bell and Mrs. Martha Hoffmann were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert on New Year’s afternoon.
