Withee, Wisconsin Area (January - 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jalling and Mr. and Mrs. James Hansen of Minneapolis arrived Wednesday to spend New Year’s day at the home of their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Jalling.  Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Blunck and son.

 

Guests at the home of George Funk Saturday and Sunday were Mrs. Delbert Doland and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Schulze and daughter of Minneapolis, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schulze and son of Rib Falls. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Giese and sons, Richard, Russell and Ronald of Whitewater, visited the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Giese, recently.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. John Giese of Pittsville called at the R. B. Giese home Sunday afternoon.

 

Alfred Hansen is receiving medical care at Medford Memorial Hospital.

 

Joan Leahy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Leahy, left Sunday for Stevens Point, where she will resume her studies at Maria High School.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert McAdam and children of Stratford visited his mother, Mrs. Elsie McAdam, Wednesday.

 

Lloyd Ruth and Joan Baum returned home Wednesday from Black River Falls, where they spent the Christmas holiday at the home of their father, Walter Baum.

 

On New Year’s Day Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Flatten and children of Burlington, Ia., arrived to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, and other relatives. They returned home Sunday.

 

Debbie McAdam of Chicago returned Sunday after spending a few days visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Elsie McAdam.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Funk were business callers in Eau Claire Monday.

 

Albert Newman of Butternut spent the New Year holiday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Newman.

 

Delmar Anderson spent New Year’s Day with friends in Burlington.
