Walker, Bert W. #2 (14 October 1880 - 13 January 1959)
Bert W. Walker, 78, Granton, died Tuesday in Neillsville following a stroke suffered late Saturday. Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from the York Center Methodist Church. The Rev. Alfred Atwood of Loyal, will officiate. Burial will be made in the York Center Cemetery.
Mr. Walker was born October 14, 1880, in Green County where he also received his education. On October 24, 1901, he was married to the former Louise Hoehlen in Monroe. He farmed for many years in the Town of York.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L. W. (Ethyl) VandeBerg, Cheney, Wash., and Mrs. Harold (Violet) Bender, Granton.
