Weston, Wisconsin Area (February - 1959)
Mrs. Joan Harder, teacher at Fairview School, was ill Tuesday and there was no school.
The Happy Homemakers Club of Weston will meet today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Franklin Zickert. The program on "cleaning rugs and upholstery" will be given by Mrs. Bert Schultz and Mrs. Bernard Opelt.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Marhefke and children of Oshkosh visited last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Landgraf.
Miss Arlene Thoma, a student at Wood County Normal, Wisconsin Rapids, visited last weekend with her mother, Mrs. John Thoma, and with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Patey, in Neillsville.
The Fairview Mothers’ Club held its February meeting at the school Friday and assisted with the Valentine party and lunch held for the children of the school.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Maxwell and children, Greenwood, visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Nielsen.
