Hahn, Walter III (29 AUG 1960 - 22 SEP 2010)

NEILLSVILLE -- Walter Hahn, 50, of Neillsville died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at his home in Neillsville.

Walter Hahn III was born Aug. 29, 1960, in Urbana, Ill., the son of Walter Jr. and Joyce (Smith) Hahn. Following his education, Walter joined the U.S. Navy, serving for 10 years. Upon his discharge, he enlisted into the U.S. Army Reserves and served for 10 more years. He was united in marriage Aug. 19, 2000, to Sharon Odom in Neillsville.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two children, Alex Hahn of Stone Lake and Paul Hahn of Strum; his mother, Joyce Hahn of Neillsville; a brother, Greg Hahn of Neillsville; and a sister, Bethany (Darrell) of San Diego, Calif.

A memorial service for Walter will be at 11 a.m. today at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Visitation will be at the funeral today from 10 a.m. until time of service. Military honors will be accorded by the Neillsville Veterans Council.
