Phillips, Dorothy Ann (Marriage - 11 April 1959)
The parish of the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton was the scene Saturday of the marriage of Miss Dorothy Ann Phillips, daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Phillips, Chicago, and Gordon Zickert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Zickert of Neillsville. The Rev. Marvin Beninga performed the single ring ceremony.
The bride wore a white street-length dress of lace over taffeta, fashioned with a very full skirt. The fitted bodice was complete with a lace jacket. Her fingertip veil of nylon tulle cascaded from a crown headpiece and she carried a bridal bouquet of roses and stephanotis.
Miss Lila Bieneck, as bridesmaid, wore a dress of pink nylon and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Zickert are residing with the groom’s parents.
