Riverside (16 April 1959)

 

The Fremont Homemakers club met last Thursday afternoon in the home of Mrs. Harry Cole, with all members but two answering to roll call.  Mrs. Werner Doehr, president, conducted the business meeting.

 

Election of officers was held and the following will serve for the coming year: president, Mrs. Oscar Loos; vice-president, Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer; secretary, Mrs. Ed Ploman; treasurer, Mrs. Harry Cole.

 

A donation was given to the cancer drive.

 

Members will exchange seeds and bulbs at the May meeting in the home of Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer.

 

Fremont Grange met Friday evening in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lindow.  Norman Peterson, Master, conducted the business meeting.  Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gardner were guests.  The April 24 meeting will be held in the Manford Cain home.
