Miss Eileen Dahnert of Eau Claire spent last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dahnert.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hauge visited Mr. and Mrs. William Moss in Mosinee Sunday. They returned with Susan Moss who will spend several days with her grandparents.
Freeman Christie, who was confined to his bed with "flu" for two weeks, is able to be about again.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Christie and son of Greenwood visited Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Christie and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Christie.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Christie and Mr. and Mrs. James Christie and two daughters, of La Crosse, visited last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Christie and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Christie.
Edward Jakubaki, New Orleans, La. visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harwick in Neillsville and with Mrs. Melvin Schafer at Granton.
Miss Marcia Chase and Freddie Morley, Granton, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Vanderwyst at Granton.
Harry Ambelang of Hewett visited Tuesday with relatives and friends in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Arne Schwellenbach and family, Eau Claire, spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Schwellenbach.
Mrs. James Horswill and children visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Moberg, at Greenwood.
The Neillsville Jaycettes met Wednesday night in the Kiwanis rooms. A report was made of an Easter gift of a quilt, food and candy to a needy family of Clark County.
Mrs. Jacob Knaus and Mr. and Mrs. James Knaus and daughter, Michelle, of West Allis, visited last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Krultz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Briski, Greenwood, also visited here.
Miss Kay Overman and her brother, Tom, a student in River Falls, spent the weekend with their parents.
Several women of the Methodist church attended a district meeting of the Women’s Society of Christian Service last week Wednesday in Mauston. Among those attending were Mrs. John Perkins, Mrs. Roy Stanley, Mrs. Kenneth Manz, Mrs. Albert Wilson, Mrs. Henry Witke and Mrs. Nellie Armitage.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dux and Jeffery, and Bill Dux, spent the weekend with the Duane Andings in Lynn and assisted them in the sugar bush.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Haas, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ernest H. Bieneck, drove Sunday to La Crosse, where Mr. Bieneck, who recently underwent eye surgery, had a checkup.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stabnow visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dux.
Mr. and Mrs. George Prochazka were Tuesday evening visitors at the Art Wagner home in Eau Claire. The Wagners are former residents of Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bardell left last week Tuesday for a visit of several days with his sister, Mrs. Emma Senst in Ohio. They returned home the forepart of the week.
Mrs. Robert Dwyer was hostess last Thursday to her "500" card club.
Mr. and Mrs. George Volz of Wisconsin Rapids visited Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Otto May.
Mr. and Mrs. William Zell and grandson, Dennis Wilding, Greenwood, called one day last week at the A. E. Wilding home.
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Vick, Wauwatosa, visited Saturday evening with their son-ion-law and daughter, the Rev. and Mrs. Virgil Holmes and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard and family have completed moving into their home south of the Masonic Temple, which they recently purchased. Mrs. Hattie Gall, owner of the house vacated by the Howards, has moved into the downstairs apartment and Mrs. Frank Radke has rented the upper apartment.
Mr. and Mrs. George Prochazka and Miss Stella Davis visited Sunday in Wausau with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Davis.
