Washington School held its annual picnic Sunday at the Schuster Park and the school is closing today (Thursday). There are no eighth grade students this year. Mrs. George Hendrickson, who has taught there for two years, has asked to be relieved. Miss Velda Levanduske, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Carstensen, who taught Riverside School in Levis this year, has accepted the position.
