Two carloads of people from here went to Minneapolis Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Murphy of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Murphy, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Murphy, Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Brown, Mrs. Hazel Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart.
Mrs. Wilbur Stewart accompanied her sister, Mrs. Veda Mertens of Withee, and their brother Cecil Looker of Owen, to Hillsboro Thursday, where they attended the funeral of their uncle, William Traverse.
Mother’s day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger, Jr., were Mr. and Mrs. Val Krainz and family of Willard, Anton Krainz and Mrs. Johanna Horvat.
