Anderson, Elsie E. (13 July 1895 - 17 May 1959)

Funeral services for Miss Elsie E. Anderson, 63, were held Wednesday from the Georgas Funeral Home.  A former Neillsville and Minneapolis resident, she died Sunday in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. The Rev. Jacob Grether officiated, and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Miss Anderson was born July 13, 1895, to the late August and Augusta (Erickson) Anderson in Neillsville.  She received her education in the Neillsville schools and for many years worked for a Minneapolis floral company.  The last few years she was librarian for the Unity Church in Minneapolis.  She was employed for several years in the office of the former Bruley Elevator Company in Neillsville.

She had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Henry Rottjer, in Loyal since last December, when she became ill.

Miss Anderson is survived by a sister, Mrs. Henry (Esther) Rottjer, Loyal; and a brother, Victor J. Anderson of Orlando, Fla.  A sister-in-law, Mrs. Albert Anderson of Highland Park, Ill., also survives.
