Word has been received of the death of a former resident of Christie, Mrs. Cindie Garvin Langford, 82, May 8, in Portland, Ore.
The former Cindie Hannah was born March 22, 1877, at Christie and for many years resided in this area before moving to Portland. She was the last member of a family of eight, who at one time were residents of this community.
