Hack, Kathryn (5 July 1909 - 25 May 1959)
Mrs. Horace Hack, 49, Granton, died Monday evening in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had received medical care for several weeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Granton Methodist Church. The Rev. Virgil Holmes of Neillsville will officiate, and burial will be made in Windfall Cemetery. Arrangements are being made by the Gilbertson Funeral home.
Mrs. Hack, the former Kathryn O’Mealy, was born July 5, 1909, in Richland County, where she received her education. She later took a teachers training course in Waukesha. On November 29, 1928, she was married to Horace Hack at Waukesha and for the last 12 years had been a resident of Granton.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Karen, who is a student nurse, in Marshfield; her mother, Mrs. Josie O’Mealy, all of Granton; two brothers, Harry O’Mealy, Springfield, Mo., and Darwin O’Mealy of La Crosse.
Pallbearers will be: E. L. Witte, Durward Schwarze, Elmer Elmhorst, William Schmidtke, Hugo Trimberger and Lloyd Spry.
