Boy Scout (Camporee - 1959)

Scoutmaster Jack Grether took 11 boys on a scout Camporee 15 miles west of Greenwood Saturday and Sunday.  They were joined by 14 groups from Eau Claire, Chippewa and other communities of Clark County. Adult leaders accompanying the Neillsville group included Lawrence McKevitt, Dennis Harcey, Larry Wendt and Warren Huddleston.

Special activity centered on second and first class scouting.  It was the first overnight camping of the newly organized Troop 64.

Scoutmaster Grether states that all boys between 11 and 14 are eligible to join.  Former scouts 14 and above are needed as junior leaders.
