Vine, Fred T. (26 February 1869 - 2 June 1959)
Fred T. Vine, 90, of Rt. 1, Neillsville, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virgil Holmes officiating. Burial will take place in the Town of Grant Cemetery.
Mr. Vine was born February 26, 1869, in the Town of Grant to Fred and Mary Vine. He received his education in the Town of Grant, after which he worked in the saw mill at Flambeau. He was married March 16, 1898, to the former Nellie Ellen Bennett at Eagle River. They returned to the home farm, where they farmed until the death of his wife on July 13, 1945.
Since that time he had made his home with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Suckow of Neillsville, Rt. 1.
Mr. Vine is survived by four children: Ernest and William Vine of Granton; Ray Vine of Duluth, Minn., and Mrs. Roy (Lettie) Suchow of Neillsville. Also surviving are a brother, Frank, of Neillsville; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Those attending from out of town included: Ray Vine, Fred, Wayne, Roger, and Mis Faye Vine, all of Duluth, Minn.; Mrs. and Mrs. Allen Linster, David and Amy, Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kissinger, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Harwood, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. William Vine, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vine, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Vine, Jane and Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gluch, James and Donald Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Short, Mrs. George Huebner, all of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Carter, Crandon; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Roder and Margaret Ann Roder of Loyal; and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Suckow of Greenwood.
