Wing, Lyman Andrew (19 March 1885 - 7 June 1959)

 

Lyman Wing, 74, of Neillsville died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, June 7, at 5:30 p.m.

 

Lyman Andrew Wing was born March 19, 1885, at Cataract, to Martin and Nellie Wing.

 

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edgar (Rose) Linjer of Withee.

 

Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) morning at 10 o’clock from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Frank B. Harcey officiating.  Burial will be made in the Cataract Cemetery.

 

Mr. Wing’s family came to Clark County in 1900.

Funeral services for Lyman A. Wing, 74, were conducted Thursday from the Georgas Funeral Home.  The Rev. Frank B. Harcey officiated and burial was made in the cemetery in Cataract.

 

Pallbearers were: Fred Subke, Martin Wing, John Pannebecker, B. H. Peterson, Larry Wing, and Frank Miller.

 

Two hymns, "the Old Rugged Cross" and "No Night There" were sung by Wilfred B. Galstad, accompanied by his daughter, Kathleen.

 

People from away here for the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Linjer, Sr., Edgar Linjer, Jr., Mrs. Edwin Finkle, Withee; Mrs. Kathleen Millard and Scott, Delavan; and Larry Wing and Martin Wing, Milwaukee.
