Ruzic, Angeline (22 May 1912 - 8 June 1959)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ivan Ruzic were held Friday morning from Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard, which she had served as organist for a quarter-century.  On June 8, 1959, death followed major surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital three days before.

 

The Requiem Mass was read by the Rev. Aloysius Madic, and burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery.

 

The former Angeline Artac, she was born May 22, 1912, in Waukegan, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Artac of Willard.  She moved to the Willard area with her parents when a child. In addition to her work with church music, she also was serving as president of the Willing Homemakers Club.

 

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Gary, at home, and Ivan, Jr., of Caledonia; a daughter, Mrs. Holbert (Donna) Martens of Marshfield; three grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Artac of Greenwood, Ludwig of Willard; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Igowski and Mrs. Ernest (Emma) Haug of Milwaukee; and her parents.
